The Importance of My Profile

Thursday 25th October 07

Today I started to realise the importance of writing a good profile about myself if I wish to attract sponsorship to help me pay for the challenge, a team to do the E2E with me, to get the media interested, very important for sponsors, to get you my readers to my blog and raise money for my chosen charity.

During today I have altered my profile a couple of times, the last time was when after writing a bit irrelevant stuff along with a load of woffle, my profile was rejected because of too many characters. 1200 is maxim. I then sat back and said to myself, what will sell this challenge, the fact that i have two Jack Russel puppies or that I have appeared live on Breakfast Time and Pebble Mill. You can read my conclusion on the left hand side under 'About Me' I also cut out the bits of spending one month in the USA travelling on the Greyhound Buss and replaced it with appearing on the radio and in newspapers. This is the sort of irreverent stuff that I hope will sell this project.

I am now going back to the web sites to extract more information from them. I am also hoping the telephone will ring all night to bring me back to reality as I have advertised a job for a Personal Assistant to look after me in to nights Even Chronicle. Eileen will be here to take the flood of calls. I employ my own staff using the Direct Payment Scheme. Best way to deal with my care and I highly recommend it.

Now where is Google!
