Appendix A.

This appendix gives you details of how you can help.

The main reason for doing this challenge is to raise awareness of the work that Arthritis Care do and as a fund raise for them. If you would like to make a donation to Arthritis Care there are two ways:

By going to the JustGiving web site www.justgiving.com/powerwheelchairchallenge

By sending a donation cheque to

Other ways you can help

I need to feed and water a team of 6 people maximum, 4 meals per day for 30 days approximately £20 per day
That will equal approximately £600.

To help with feeding the team you could make a donation of supermarket vouchers for any supermarket. These vouchers will be exchanged for groceries. If you prefer, send me a cheque to me stating what you are donating towards, and that cheque will go straight into a Barclays Bank Account I have opened.

Any vouchers or monies left at the end of the challenge will be sent to Arthritis Care for their fundraising efforts.

I need petrol. for two vehicles.
Say 25 miles per gallon / 1000 = 40 galls x 2 vehicles
80 galls of petrol at say £5 per gallon equals £400 for petrol.

On my shopping list is also.
The hire of a van or car to follow me as a safety vehicle.

The challenge has to be covered by insurance.

I am also including a list of support team members I am looking for just incase you know of anyone.

Lastly the route I shall be travelling.
