Went to meet my MP
Today, Saturday 1st March, i went to see my local MP the Rt Hon Stephen Byers at one of his many surgery, here in Tyne & Wear.
The reason i wanted to speak to him was to discuss my care package, well the lack of it, and the problem I am having with the Independent Living Fund. ILF. This part of the interview went very well and i feel he may well be able to help me. We shall see.
Not one for missing an opportunity to talk about my E2E challenge, i took this one. To cut a long story short, Mr, sorry the Rt Hon Stephen Bryers, has said he will come on board and support me in any way he can. Now we are really talking. Thank you Rt Hon Stephen Bryers.
I have already emailed Vincent of Arthritis Care about my new supporter. That will make is Monday morning a bit brighter
