This morning I suffered a slight set back, in so much that a certain book would not accept my world record attempt as they say quote "Thank you for your enquiry regarding your intention to attempt the record for ‘End to End by wheelchair'. This record is currently rested, which means that no one can attempt this record and become a new record holder and therefore is not a category that we wish to pursue further." unquote.
This threw me for some time, but I got over it. I then went to 'Word Net' typed in "World Record" which came up with quote" n) world record (the best record in the whole world). This I am sure means that my attempt on the E2E in June still holds the qualification of been a "World Record" unquote, even if not in the eyes of a certain book. I shall make sure that, with Jacks help, I get all the neccessary paperwork filled in to prove without a doubt, that i have filled all of the criteria to make my E2E a World Record.
That all aside, and I had calmed down, i thought i must complie a World Record Book for Disabled People. Some names have come to mind. "The Other World Record Book". "A brands name Other World Record Book" Has anyone got any ideas i could use or comments on the idea?
I also gave some thought today to my business plan. That I should include making the application form for all of my support team. On this form besides Name, address tel no would have to be next of kin, next of kins tel no. any dietary requirements, medical condition I should no about. that sort of thing.
I also wrote to Jack Adams about the email i had received from that certain book. He helped me deal with the disappointment and told me that quote "you will be too filled with emotion on completing the ultimate UK journey." unquote. I look forward to that feeling Jack. What more of a response could I ask for. Thanks Jack.
